Most of Birmingham Group Health Services' (BGHS) Programs and Services are conducted at our Main Headquarters, located at 435 East Main Street in downtown Ansonia, Connecticut, in the Lower Naugatuck Valley region of the state. BGHS' Valley Mental Health Center is located in the same building. Ansonia is approximately 12 miles north of Bridgeport, 10 miles northwest of New Haven, and 15 miles south of Waterbury. Our main headquarters are easily accessible from either Route 8 or Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway/Merritt Parkway). Birmingham Group Health Services Human Resources Department, Development Department, The Valley Substance Abuse Action Council and some Rehabilitation Services are located at 301 Main Street in Ansonia, CT.
