Birmingham Group Health Services, Inc. (BGHS) is a state licensed, non-profit behavioral health care provider located in Ansonia, Connecticut, serving the citizens of the Lower Naugatuck Valley and Greater New Haven communities.
For over 25 years, BGHS has been providing hope and help for children, families and individuals affected by mental illness, domestic violence and substance abuse. Cell phones Help Fight Domestic Violence
BGHS' The Umbrella domemstic violence program collects cell phones that are no longer being used. The phones are given to victims of
domestic violence who are in need
of immediate access to a 911 connection. or are
recycled by a company that pays The Umbrella up to
$20 per phone. The funds help support critical services. To donate your unused/unwanted phone, or to learn more, call 203-736-2601, ext. 381 today!
BGHS Receives Its 9th CARFAccreditation!
BGHS received its 9th consecutive international CARF Accreditation - the highest level of accreditation that a rehabilittion service provider may be awarded. CARF, The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission, is an international accreditation body.
