What Is A
Community Coalition?
A community coalition is a
volunteer group of concerned citizens, parents, students,
educators, business leaders and other community stakeholders who
meet and work to together to develop and promote anti-substance
abuse initiatives and policies to make the community a healthier
and safer place to work and live.

The coalition meets monthly at various
locations in the Valley. We are
currently looking for new members who would like to help us develop
strategies
and support for anti-substance abuse initiatives. If you would like to

Free
Training for Valley Congregations!
Become a resource for members of your
congregations struggling with addiction challenges!
VSAAC, in conjunction with the Valley
Parish Nurse program, is offering a free Congregation
Assistance Program (CAP) Training for members of Valley
congregations. Develop the knowledge and skills needed
to provide support, hope, and referral for those in need.
Training begins this spring!
