VSAAC presents the story of legendary Miami Dolphins Coach Don Shula and his ‘winning edge’ success formula, as told by David Pease, the team’s traveling secretary and business manager during their historic 1972 undefeated year.  Learn how you can help your student athletes attain that winning edge both on and off the playing field, and about one activity that can work against your students and impede their performance.  Don’t miss this untold story from a key insider – a poignant story of winning and losing, with the power to touch and change young lives.

Sponsored by: Pernod Ricard USA, NFL Alumni - CT Chapter, CT Coalition to Stop Underage Drinking.

HEADS UP Program:
Heroin Education & Dangerous Substance Understanding
Presented by the Philadelphia Police Department

The Heroin Education and Dangerous Substance Understanding Program (Heads-up) was established to attack the drug problems from a preventive standpoint. Substance abuse prevention professionals have come to realize the importance of presenting a no holds barred outlook of the true damage and destruction that drugs are causing to young and old alike.

The HEADS UP program is geared towards educators, children and families to not only to teach them about the dangers of drugs, but also to actually show them what will happen.

The response to the HEADS UP program, as presented across the country, has been overwhelming.  Now it is being made available here in Valley courtesy of VSAAC,  HOPE, and Seymour Public Schools.

For more information about the HEADS UP Program, and upcoming sessions, contact VSAAC at  (203) 736-8566 today!
